1. Reinebringen Trail Head
My absolute highlight of Lofoten was the Reinebringen Trail, although it was more the view than the trail itself. The trail itself consists of 1200 unpleasantly large steps. I personally found the ascent quite strenuous, but there are plenty of opportunities to take a break along the way. At the "summit" I saw people with dogs, children and mothers carrying their toddlers up the stairs. The trail is therefore suitable for every fitness level. The sunrise and sunset should also be incredible to watch from there. I personally would take something to eat and drink next time to have a picnic there.
The steps look really nice, they are carved out of individual boulders, so each step has a different height and shape. In addition to the incredible view, this gives the Reinebringen Trail a very natural touch, you get the feeling that the Vikings had already climbed these steps.
My parking recommendation is the Steffenakken car park, from here it is a 15-minute walk and the car park is not heavily frequented during the day. In the evening, the parking lot is used by many campers as a night camp. Personally, this spot is much too loud for me to stay overnight, as the trucks also drive long there when they come from the ferry.
If you are traveling by car or if you are really lucky, you can find a free space at the parking lot of the E10. Usually there are already at least 3 vehicles waiting for a space to become available.

3. Sund – sleeping at the museum
Sund was our first stop in Lofoten, since all other sleeping places were occupied, we slept in front of the museum The Blacksmith at Sund.
The blacksmith named Tor-Vegard Mørkved works in the museum and has been making wrought-iron cormorants since 1989. Visitors can watch the blacksmith shaping the necks. The tradition of blacksmithing dates back to the 'old blacksmith' Hans Gjertsen, who started in the 1960s and is famous for giving King Olav V a king cormorant as a gift.
4. Ramberg 6 on the E10 – Park4Night
At Park4Night you will find this place with a beautiful view, here you can fish very well and there is relatively little noise from vehicles. My absolute highlight at the place was the sunset. This one was beautiful but also a bit strange as it didn't really get dark at night during the time we were there. After sunset the sky just turned blue again. Sometimes it's just the little things that make your day, this place is one of those little things in my opinion.
